Meet Aimee! #GetToKnowYourCustomerDay

We love learning about different people's hair journeys and it's even more special to us when we are a part of it. So, in honor of #GetToKnowYourCustomerDay we got to know our lovely customer, Aimee, as she gave a glimpse of her hair care routine, tips and more!

"Before Nourage, I was always in search of any way to give my hair volume."

What hairstyle makes you feel most confident?

I’m most confident when my hair is styled half up half down with big, loose curls. I feel like I can take on the world!

What is your go-to hairstyle?

I typically blow dry it straight if I’ve just hopped out of the shower. But if I haven’t washed my hair in a couple of days, I use dry shampoo and do “quick” curls to give it volume.

What’s your favorite hair accessory?

Definitely clips! I’ve got quite the collection. It’s a huge trend right now so I have a bunch of different colors and styles.

What’s your daily beauty routine?

I’m always on the go and not much of a morning person, so my routine is pretty simple and quick. One thing I always make sure to do is to wash my face. Not only does it wake me up, but I have to wash all that dirt and oil that builds up overnight. After that, I add a little moisturizer and start my makeup, which is pretty simple – I always go the natural look. This probably takes me 30 minutes max. What takes forever is deciding what I’m going to wear. Hah! Nourage is also, part of my daily routine which I take after breakfast. I always make sure to have a little something in my stomach before taking any kind of supplement.

Best hair or beauty advice that will always stick with you?

I actually have two hair tips:

1. If you're always on the go, like me, use a hair mask when you work out. It allows the hair mask to sit for a long time while staying busy. I put the hair mask on from ends to roots, tie my hair up in a bun, add a sweatband, go on a run or do a workout, and then hop straight into the shower to wash it out. I do this about every 2 weeks to keep my hair moisturized, soft, and shiny.

2. Instead of brushing your hair as you would normally do after using dry shampoo, use a hairdryer to blast your roots. This will give your hair extra body and volume.

How long have you been taking Nourage

I’ve been a Nourage gal for 5 months now!

What were your hair concerns before taking Nourage?

My main concern was hair fallout – I used to shed like crazy! I have naturally straight hair, and my hair strands are pretty thin, so that combo leaves me with flat hair (unless I curl it). Before Nourage, I was always in search of any way to give my hair volume.

Describe what Nouarge has done for you.

Nourage has blown me away with noticeably fuller hair! In the first couple of months, I started noticing my nails grow stronger, which is great since I get my nails done often. But then I really started noticing a difference in my hair 3-months into taking it. It was definitely a confidence booster so you already know Nourage will be apart of my beauty routine for 2020!

How else do you keep your hair healthy (oils, foods, salon)?

I make sure to get my hair trimmed regularly ( every 3 or 4 months) and lots and lots of macadamia oil! I know there are a lot of other oils that probably work great too, but I prefer macadamia oil – it smells amazing and keeps my hair extra silky smooth.
